About ORNAHD
ORNAHD stands for periOperative Registered Nurses Association of Hamilton & District.
Our mission is to promote educational opportunities for Perioperative Registered Nurses, provide opportunities for the collaborative exchange of ideas, promote the advancement of perioperative nursing through certification and advanced practice, and to uphold high standards of nursing practice and interdisciplinary collaboration enhancing perioperative nursing practices.

- To keep Perioperative Registered Nurses updated on current theories and technologies.
- To promote the exchange of ideas and practice of perioperative nursing in the Hamilton & District region.
- To encourage educational programs for Perioperative Registered Nurses and promote Perioperative Certification through the Canadian Nurses Association.
- To encourage involvement in executive membership and the conference planning committee.
